This document offers an overview of the coming changes, (1) examining the various developments that have necessitated 'Towards a New Public Prosecution Service', (2) describing the vision behind the reforms and (3) discussing the specific changes that the OM will be making.
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) is changing. In late 2004 it put forward the programme 'Towards a New Public Prosecution Service'. The Minister of Justice has since informed the House of Representatives about what this programme will entail.
