Witnesses to international crimes: Report them!
Your experiences in your home country can help bring criminals to justice. Perhaps you are aware of victims or perpetrators of international crimes currently in the Netherlands. This information can help us greatly in our efforts to combat international crimes.
Do you know someone who has committed international crimes?
And are you unsure what to do? The International Crimes Team, at the behest of the National Public Prosecution Service, investigates suspected war crimes, genocide, torture, and crimes against humanity. If the perpetrator is in the Netherlands, an investigation into their crimes can be launched. But even if the perpetrator has fled to another country, we can put your information to good use. In recent years, we have conducted investigations in many other countries, including Rwanda, Afghanistan, former Yugoslavia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Congo. And perpetrators of war crimes, genocide, and torture have been sentenced to prison for their crimes in Dutch courts.
